☀️ Your Guide to August in Denver
August 4, 2026 · — Paul Karolyi
Howdy neighbors! Are you tired of the heat yet? I sure am.
All this sweltering sunshine might just push me back to the theater for another showing of The Odyssey this month, especially if the Regal on Colorado Boulevard can get that 70MM IMAX projector working for more than a couple days at a time.
It probably deserves a second watch, too. I’ve been a little chilly on some of Nolan’s films upon release, and The Odyssey was no exception. But the memes are getting to me! And I can’t stop thinking about that dinner scene at Circe’s house. *shudders*
Read on for more of our thoughtfully curated recommendations for how to have the best August ever.
