  • Is someone gonna do something? During an “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit over the weekend (more on that below), Gov. Polis repeatedly emphasized plans to “fix” the new policy as soon as possible.

🧑‍💻 Gov. Polis’ Turn Facing the Reddit Mob

Just a few days after Mayor Mike Johnston logged on to the r/Denver subreddit for an hour-long “Ask Me Anything” session, Gov. Jared Polis offered an impromptu AMA of his own Saturday morning. Comparatively, the governor answered many more questions than the mayor did, most of which concerned his support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The governor also responded to questions about the Front Range passenger rail, tariffs, and the 2026 gubernatorial race to replace him. [Reddit]

  • Pro-tip: Sort the comments by “controversial” to see where things got spicy.
  • Polis in his natural environment: The governor was quick on the keyboard and candid in his answers — but that’s not surprising for Colorado’s most “online” politician.
