🇵🇸 Sen. Bennet, Rep. Crow Protested Over Gaza

Two town hall events hosted by U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet and U.S. Rep. Jason Crow were met with protesters who oppose the politicians’ stance on Gaza and Crow’s campaign receiving funds from Palantir, a technology company that provides AI software to Israel Defense Forces. 🪿 Will Denver Ban Foie Gras?

The group of animal rights activists who fought for a slaughterhouse ban are hoping to take another question to voters — this time to ban foie gras, which is produced by force-feeding geese or ducks. The proposal would ban both the sale of the liver dish and, more broadly, any force-feeding of poultry. [Denverite]

Last week’s answer: Pony Up

This LoDo bar is known for having delicious French dip sandwiches and unique cocktails. The painting comes from local artist Patrick Kane McGregor, who painted the owner’s French bulldog, Louis, as King Louis XIV.
