All 22 members of the state GOP caucus signed a letter to Mayor Mike Johnston requesting a meeting to discuss Denver’s “alarming state of safety.” The letter says violent crime, drug use, and lawlessness around the Capitol leave lawmakers fearing for their safety — and the safety of residents.
