🛫 United Airlines Sees Big Potential in Denver
In a new development plan filed with the city of Denver, United Airlines hinted at the possibility of building enough office space to accommodate 6,000 more employees on the 133 acres of land it purchased near DIA in 2023. The filing has sparked speculation that the airline may be preparing to move its headquarters from Chicago to Denver. [KDVR]
🚫 King Soopers Labor Battle Reaches New Heights
In the midst of workers strikes taking place at stores across the state the grocery chain has filed a lawsuit against the UFCW Local 7 claiming it’s being “forced” to bargain with unions outside of Colorado. The union calls the claims “baseless” and says King Soopers is attempting to distract workers from reaching an equitable contract. [City Cast Denver 🎧]
❓ ‘Swastika Apartment’ Tenant Threatened with Eviction
The tenant of an East Colfax apartment unit where multiple swastika displays have appeared in the windows recently is facing the possibility of eviction, according to a public letter posted by property managers.
