⚖️ Club Q survivors sue El Paso County sheriff
November 20, 2024 · — Adrian González
Hey, neighbor! It’s City Cast editor Adrian González filling in for Peyton Garcia today.
As a big fan of Denver chef Johnny Curiel’s work, I was delighted to see his restaurant, Alma Fonda Fina, featured in Condé Nast’s list of the best places to visit in North America and the Caribbean. Peyton recently spoke to the chef about earning a Michelin Star and what it means for Alma Fonda Fina.

🏠 Building ADUs in Denver Just Got Easier
Denver City Council voted unanimously to approve a new law allowing accessory dwelling units (ADUs) citywide without owners needing rezoning approval or having to live on the same property. ⛷️ The Sale of A-Basin is Official
The U.S. Department of Justice has approved the sale of Arapahoe Basin, one of Colorado’s oldest ski areas, to Alterra Mountain Company, the Denver-based company that also owns Steamboat, Winter Park, and 17 other ski resorts across the country. The sale, along with a 10-year plan to improve parking and snowmaking, as well as upgraded facilities, was announced in February but had to undergo an antitrust review before being finalized this month.
