Last week’s answer: “Broken but Together” by Michael Benisty at Hogan Park in The Aurora Highlands.

This 25-foot-tall beauty was installed just last month as part of the community’s acclaimed Art in the Park program. It comes from Belgian contemporary artist Michael Benisty who specializes in sculpting with mirrored stainless steel. Benisty says, “I was thrilled to create a piece that can be seen from far and wide and depicts a message of togetherness, bringing people from all walks of life to appreciate the beauty of art.”

👏 Big claps for our correct guessers:

Barnes & Noble & Tattered Cover, Pride So Corporate, and Our Pride Guide

The Tattered Cover’s fate may rest in the hands of Barnes & Noble, if the sale of the bankrupt bookstore goes through — but what happens when a local mainstay goes corporate? And speaking of big money interests, Denver’s Pride weekend’s corporate ties have some folks wondering if this kind of funding waters down the celebration’s revolutionary roots.
