🧑⚖️ DU’s Assault Investigation Shortcomings
The University of Denver is facing a civil trial for failing to investigate allegations in a sexual misconduct case. Despite previous rulings in favor of the accused student, Colorado Supreme Court justices cleared the path for trial against the university, which has been subject to ongoing scrutiny over its handling of campus sexual assault allegations. 🧯 Fire Department in the Hot Seat
The City of Denver is spending $100,000 to investigate timekeeping practices at the Denver Fire Department. Top brass at the fire department were also seemingly cashing in on unused vacation days while pressuring rank-and-file firefighters not to do the same. [CBS Denver]
