Help Your Neighbor

Mother’s Day is this weekend! As a new mom myself, I personally want to shout out EVERY mother out there, because it’s hard work! And you shouldn’t have to do it alone. So this week, I’m highlighting some local organizations geared toward supporting Mile High mamas and their little ones:
🌷 Hope House provides free programs and resources to teenage moms, including educational assistance, legal advocacy, and financial guidance.
🌷 Bridge of Hope is a Christian-based nonprofit serving single mothers and children experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the metro Denver area.
🌷 Florence Crittenton is a local nonprofit that has been educating, preparing, and empowering teen mothers since 1893.
🌷 The Gathering Place aims to be a place of refuge for women, transgender folks, and children experiencing poverty through programs and services related to housing, healthcare, transportation, and other essential needs.
🌷 The Women’s Foundation of Colorado is a community foundation dedicated to “creating more pathways to equity” for Colorado women.
- 🗓️ Mark your cal: This Friday, WFC is hosting Chat4Change, a virtual event to celebrate mothers in our community, featuring expert guest speakers who will share tips and resources for Colorado mamas.
